ASSOCIATION 3535 works at the intersection of 6 carefully chosen priorities shaping our present and future: Climate Change, Food Security, Healthcare, Technology, Youth Employment and Black Excellence.
We are a not-for-profit, project development studio that ideates, designs and implements projects that are creating jobs and saving the planet.
Founded in 2016, our name came from organizing the “Africa 35.35 awards”, a six-year long fellowship program and awards ceremony that recognized yearly the merit of 35 remarkable young innovators under 35 from Africa and the Afro Diaspora. We grew into a community of close to 200 remarkable young innovators from 32 countries (today counting ministers, business heroes, civil society leaders, influencers and opinion-makers).
Evolving our theory of change, we have now grown into a project developer of transformational social and environmental impact-driven projects.
We are proud to count as past or present technical and financial partners: the Institute of Food Technologists, the Million Cool Roofs Challenge, the United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Office For Project Services, the United Nations International Labor Organization and Google.
